Nothing fires my happy jets like a badass heroine who doesn't mind her manners. Perish is awesome. PB is all kinds of quietly lethal but the girl friendship is there. Kind of like Xena and Gabrielle.

Perish and PB. Definitely a Xena/Gabrielle vibe which is cool. Great dark worldbuilding and Eshu! I played an Eshu character in Changeling the Dreaming so it's nice to see authors getting into African mythology.
