Loving this book thus far. The tale is told from a third perspective. Like a quick history of a small town in a fictional South American country.
And follows many generations of the founding family of this town, Macon do, the Buendias.

The elements of the supernatural add to the very vibrant characters. You see the characters grow up, fall in love, move on, die then the next generation. Very interesting style.
