Well, I think I am about 20% in to this short novel and its not paced well, I think. Novels short on pages have to hustle. And its page thirty-four and about 15 of those pages could have been cut out - excessive moping/whining/over-writing about the grief of the main character. That much setup is only good for those big doorstops.....
