Umm well I'm sorry but I don't see the relation between THAT and her books. For me, if I like an artists work, I just like it. Whatever the artist is doing with her personal life doesn't matter to me because their work is totally separate. But yeah, I will be having a TOTALLY different debate if the artist has done something despicable in real life.

So what I'm trying to say is... If I like a book? I can't "unlike" it. No matter what happens with the artist.

You can't seperate the "art" from the "artist" not when they are clearly profiting from it.

And they deserve it because the "art" must be wonderful if people are admiring it! Duh! Also people are entitled to have their own opinions and views. And those views might differ from yours. That's life. Accept it.

well. being a zionist is more related to history and religion than to

You can have an opinion on a matter when it doesn't concern actual human beings lives and then i'll respect it. This isn't like saying i like x and y while i dont and expect me to move one. This is about a whole nation. I do not know from what kind of privileged stance ur coming from but this isn't ok. It's like someone saying oh i admire what hitler did to those jews and another saying ok mate i don't share that opinion but you do you?? It doesnt sound right? I am tired of seeing people dismissimg me and my people.

I understand where you are coming from. And it's okay to not like the author because of something they did. But tell me one thing. Just think about a song you like a lot. And then the singer does something despicable which has nothing to do with the song itself. So naturally you can still dislike the Singer but like the song right? Maybe I am not explaining this right. But this is what happens with a lot of people. You are just trying to make people hate the books which doesn't have anything to do with the political issues. No connection whatsoever.
