This book is marketed as “new adult” so why can’t it be like. Even a little blunter about the sex and nudity. There are “young adult” books meant for teens that talk about the sex more blatantly. It’s fucking weird to have a scene where a character jizzes his jeans from apparently just hearing his name said and then takes a shower with his crush and doesn’t even comment on the nudity.

Also... jizzing your pants is never hot. Sorry.

Also it’s weird that Alden is like. Blatantly an autistic character and the author instead says he’s undecided “neurodiverse”. Like... him just being autistic could have the exact same point of his moms trying to “fix” him, and it wouldn’t make it seem like the author thinks being autistic is a bad thing. Also “high functioning” is a useless and harmful term
