I love Anna Quindlen's writing, and I found her very endearing when she read her memoir. But I'm not loving this book. Writing notwithstanding, it kind of meanders aimlessly and actually has some chick lit(!) cliches (we randomly enter the guy's head on occasion so we can hear him rhapsodize about the woman when he otherwise has no personality or perspective). Also, some overly unsympathetic characters.
