The more I read the more I'm repelled. The words, "I'm not like other girls." are dripping off every interaction Whitney has with another character. And it's not her fault; she's just written that way. And I've lost track over the number of guys that could be interested in her or that she's interested in. I expected romance for a YA novel, but it's distracting from the whole "football" part of this novel.
