I'm starting to get into a fall mood and am looking for any spooky, eerie, magical novels that anyone could recommend. I'm mostly a gothic, ghost-y, folklore, supernatural fan. Not into graphic or gruesome horror or any mystery/thrillers that involve murder. Not into short story collections or anthologies either. Anyone got any good ones?

Fantastic question! Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier fits the bill I think. Also Bone China by Laura Purcell (or really anything by her).

I also forgot to mention We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson. And The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters (probably this one more than others)
