Chad R Anyone who's a layperson such as I and has a fascination with the future of genetic manipulation should definitely read this book. The language is simple even if the concepts are complex.

In addition to providing a foundation for understanding what genes actually are and how they are edited, the author does a good job describing the medical, scientific, and ethical challenges involved with gene-editing.
