The MC's emotions seen oddly disconnected. I suppose, as a escort, he would have to disconnect somewhat, but this fellow's emotions seem too disconnected--so much so that even his feelings for Trevor, the one he loves! seem false. But the writing, the narrator's first person voice is just so smooth, like a fine whiskey, I can't stop reading. And the tension of Trev not knowing....

Lol, this guy has a charmed life. Seriously. I am lol-ing at the ease with which he navigates huge emotional events. Not that he doesn't feel anything, but to just comes off as so point-of-fact. But the pace is so quick and easy I am still reading....
