Fun fact: I've reached a point in this book where I dread to go further because I realize it's going to get bad for the main characters. This is a good sign in fiction.

I have this weird tick: If there's characters I like and I know they'll go through bad things, then I start avoid the book. I'm going to finish this, but every time I start again, things get worse for them. Stop being mean!
