In Perfect Harmony -
Another Harmony-centric episode/issue!
Harm is being blackmailed so she enlists the help of Angel & Faith.
The reveal was pretty obvious (not to mention cliche).
There was an underlying plot of ‘stop living in the past. Move on’.
It’s a shame that was overshadowed by a ridiculous story that was I guess, meant to be funny but honestly, just felt a little awkward.

Issue #4 -
Pearl & Nash are outsmarted by Faith who makes some great moves/tactics and we learn what exactly the Mohra blood does in a world with no *spoilers*.
This revelation does not stop Angel in pursuit of his quest.
In regards to that, we see something a little strange at the end of this issue. I don’t know what’s going on there and that’s exciting!
On another note, the Terror Twins now have what they need…

Uncovering dirty dealings with Mohra demon blood…
Hilariously, Angel's ‘expert’ in Mohra demons gave us basically the same info we received in season one!
Side note: This isn’t super clear in the actual story (of this series at least) but all current Slayers still have their powers.
There just won’t be any new Slayers called...until Melaka, I guess.

Issue #2 -
Angel is pushing forward with his plan. Faith, who as his friend feels obligated to stay by him, does not want Angel to carry out his plan at all. Mostly because she knows that’s not what Giles wanted.
I liked the season one Angel call-back.
Plus I appreciate how much better Giles was drawn.
I’d be interested to see more of how the demons are dealing with the lack of magic.

Angel and Faith are following Giles’ journal to finish what he started.
Plus Faith keeps in contact with (ex?) Slayers while new villains are introduced who (of course) have a connection with Twilight…
I know where the Giles plot ends up but it’ll be interesting to see how it gets there.
