I think that's enough for one sitting, if only because I have other things I need to do for a while. I could probably read this whole book at once, otherwise, because it's short and made for children.

And the story begins, after a brief aside about the nature of the story and the history of its author.

Found this laying around in a drawer of old belongings. I think I've had it since I was seven or so - around 24 years now - and I still love my talking Wishbone plush and still keep a keychain plushie version from a kids' meal of some sort. The nostalgia is strong, so I can't resist making an aside to read this one again!
