Lol so many romances aren’t even trying anymore. They might as well say “He wuz the strOnGesT waaaRRRior evar, and he looked like just like DROGO!! Now u see yerself gettin ravaged by Drogo, right?? Omg, yes. That’s hot. The end.”

That's exactly the aesthetic the author was going for. Raped and shoved around by Drogo, but the heroine did all the doormatting by herself.
Ugh. Lame. Looks like the cover is the best thing about it. :/ (Incidentally, three of my GR friends—none of whom are opposed to jerk heroes—marked this as read. All three gave it 1 star. Telling, that.)
