I finished it! What an amazing book, very very packed with chili history for its day, and its very exciting to see all these recipes and people's views on chili. I recommend it to anyone interested in chili.

I shared an interesting note about this book on Facebook, regarding a phrase made immortal by Star Trek 14 years later. You'll just have to look on my timeline to find it. :) Otherwise, still loving it, I'm reading many of the submitted letters now, which I believe are the final part of the book.

I really like how this author writes. As an added feature, a friend of mine who is into chili anthropology as well, recommended this book as one of the holy grails of chili history. She is right.
