Had the distinct pleasure of visiting the repaired USS Cole when I first got stationed in Norfolk as a deck seaman. We shared a pier with them and we had to go over and ask for a bucket of haze grey paint. The dudes were cool and gave us a tour of the mess decks where the Sailors were killed and it was really touching and probably one of my most vivid memories from my early days in the Navy.

Wow that's pretty cool. Was it the same crew? This is a pretty good book if you wanna read up on it. Short and to the point.

Well this was in 2003 so I think there were only a handful of people left from the crew that was part of the attack. I might have to check that one out.

Oh ok gotcha. Still, had to have been wild. I just finish it. Not a bad read.
