Of all the things to date this book I did not expect it to be the clothes (Gap? chunky beads and jewelry? oof I remember that era) and the school shooting statistics (when this was published they were “every year” but they were so common as once a week until corona hit)… weird. Reading this is like a time capsule in a slightly unsettling way.
