It's actually painful to see Knapp politicises Eating Disorders. Perhaps this was more relevant in Second Wave feminist discourse, but not now. Further, so far - despite her reliance on anecdotes and 'interviews' she has little sociological grounding to back up her assertions. Never thought I'd see the day I was hungry to see someone reference a little foucault or something.
