I'm starting to get seriously annoyed at the author's inability to resolve ANY subplots. We keep starting stuff and dropping them midway and jumping ahead to the start of something else the next chapter. It's as if the whole book is a PR stunt. Where is the REAL book, where we don't just get the first few pages of each chapter?
