Book six was amazing. Isadora’s narration was immaculate, beautiful passages packed throughout, the way the book ties-in with the previous books; awesome stuff.

Book five was great. Action sequences, magical realism, and philosophical pondering betwixt conspiracy and fuxing.

Book four became a slog halfway through before finishing off very strong. The ham-fisted references to South-American cultures are becoming more tiresome, but only when I feel like they disrupt the flow of prose that Bellis can sustain. Overall, enjoying this tome. . .

Third book better than the first not quite as the second, lot of the humor attempts fell flat for me. Weird repetitive references to Gisela’s breasts, very annoying. . . Seriously, they were referenced at least ten times. Some of the long metaphorical passages fell flat for me.

The second book was amazing. From Soledad’s story about the brothel to the end of the chapter was darn near perfect reading.

Through the first novella. Hemingway-like in perspective, but with bigger words here and there. Crappy dude characters (not crappy in their literary formation, but crappy in their actions).
