THREE SENTENCES ABOUT HOW THE READING IS GOING: I just got this book, and I am excited because I like Chris Emdin's work a lot, and respect his views on education. I just started the book, and something that caught my eye is that there are a lot of quotes at the start of each chapter. I know the word Ratchet, but am curious if this is also related to the pandemic?

I am really excited to dive into this book. I was intrigued at the title, because I know what ratchet is, but wonder if "Ratchetdemic" is connected to COVID or other things?? I am interested to see that he starts each chapter with a quote from people who inspire him.
