A '20s trans-Atlantic vie boheme through the eyes of Anita Reynolds. No "tragic mulatto," this racial cocktail mixed as freely with the white artistic lights of Greenwich Village and Left Bank Paris as with the Harlem Renaissance's "Talented 10th." So far Reynold's refreshing view of a black woman in orbit just outside the gravity of her '20s African American world almost makes her shameless name dropping forgivable.
