Reading this knowing I'll disagree with some of it, but want to gain some outside perspective and context for arguments I hear often.

It's clear that this entire book is based on (and only exists because of) an over-simplified and extreme view of "progressive" Christianity. But still acts as an interesting insight into the beliefs of conservative Christian "thinkers."
