I am really enjoying how the author is basically just talking to us about his experiences with these famous athletes over time. We get to hear about these interviews and interactions that we may not have heard about. For example, Johnny Bench hitting "...three consecutive homeruns" in batting practice before game 1 of the 1975 World Series>

I am really enjoying we are getting to know these athletes throughout history by no only their actions within their sport, but also their lives and experiences. Tom Callahan had many experiences with these athletes that not many people got the opportunity to have like being on "... the same flight to the All Star Game" as Johnny Bench and his wife (Callahan 67). I do not like how there is constant switching around
