An 8 mile wide asteroid hits Earth and only wipes out 75% of us humans! I would think an asteroid that big would be the end of all of us. Not only that...it somehow SUCKED all the cretaceous wildlife forward in time to our time so they could do a number on the remaining humans. C'mon. WTF?
