There’s Virginia Woolf, Jane Austen, Agatha Christie, Elizabeth Taylor, Sylvia Plath, Margaret Atwood and Maya Angelou And then there’s Sally Rooney … it seems she took the best shades of these stalwarts added her own magic and lo and behold ‘Beautiful World…’ this is by far her best work and by far the most delicious thing I read in years
