SNAKE PEOPLE, incest, murder, lesbians, book club, and hidden treasure (diamonds)! i love it. MC studies biology and there are some intelligent serpent information. It came from nowhere and wow what a twist.
Lola (venom) and Talulla (neurotoxin) are great. I wish I had a snake best friend down for murder. “We are monsters, fabulous beasts.”

creepy changeling kid? dead pet rabbit frozen to death, now with elongated skull n ribs—then underneath a childs coffin pieces of paper on top. why had the creature given them the two coffins? n pointed out the “magic hole” to his mom? mom’s going back to house to kill it. But i want more! just cuts off. A good story!

wild wild west Cowboys vs Indian (native american) ghost revenge story. a well is a bad death. drowning in a trough (ur friend trying to save u n pull u out in public, n getting a reputation of having drowned u despite desperately pulling) is worse. Senseless violence. Misread message from the saved ghosts/playing w kids. didn’t want em dead w them.

the Help Me monsters are creepy. “Old gods wanted blood, didn’t they? Blood and offerings of flesh.” Strange tale that jumps around and hard to put together, but very enjoyable... Mr. Help Me could be a cryptid? Compulsion “motherly”. Doesn’t visibly move/blink n 2/3feet closer. that chuckle. wow.

1st story: if this were expanded into a series i wld read in a heartbeat. Vampire Plague. Nightly amnesia/normal days. Test:Yellow suns on the back of hands, and Black stars on wrists. S only slightly higher: Testing failed. MC is a strong woman mentally and reminds me of Carol from TWD. Venezuela college quarantine, then America. Nurseoldcouple,hunter,prephouse,momngirl,baprep.Revenge is always satisfying.
