The Heroine of this story wasn't strong to me. She had a boss that made her continue to use her as a gopher. She did not stand up for herself. There was too much repetition about her being weird and a loner. This book has cheesy dialog like so many of them have. The COVID was mentioned, but when Kinley got sick it wasn't thought of.
