the late 1800’s to the 1920’s suffers in comparison to haiku form as the lack of brevity dilutes essence. I skipped to the 1940’s and beyond for comparison. So far, I have found that I have enjoyed some of the work that was non-political or that referenced historical events. I plan to return to update this review at a later date. You
