"What happens in models based on culture is that the focus on culture is only on selective aspects and usually centres on ceremony and/or ritual. Consistent with the previous definitoins, cultures are much more than the material and ceremonial aspects that are often stereotypically referred to. Although these are important, culture also consists of ways of being, ways of understanding and ways of coming to knowledge.
