For a book that is about an insanely powerful sorcerer traveling the paths of reality and the worlds nested in it in a sentient castle, it is more about a found family and building relationships and navigating the politics of species and institutions.

I dig it. But if you are looking for an action-packed adventure, look away. It'll save you a rant review :D
