Okay the book has moved from "incredibly uncomfortable" to "comically absurd"
SPOILERS
from the scene of the underage werewolf walking out of the woods in booty shorts causing the adult to literally walk into a house to the scene where the werewolf literally asks the other guys mom for permission to court him with his family listening from the window to saying he wants to have his blood in his claws????
Absurd.

Spoilers:
I'm gonna be honest... the story was so much more interesting when Joe had fucked off. The romance is 1000% the worst part of this book. The lore is actually fairly interesting. The description of pack dynamics and the development of a human alpha forming a primarily human pack is pretty damn good.
Then Joe comes back and they reconcile in a week and it just sucks the life out of it

I'm not gonna lie, I kinda hate this. The dynamics so far in this book just make me so uncomfortable.
Y'know when Jacob imprints on Bella's newborn daughter in Twilight and how fucking WEIRD it was? This book is basically that in reverse where a 12 year old imprints on a 16-17 year old and it just feels weird.
Apparently theres going to be a time skip at some point and when I tell you I can' t wait for it
