After a particularly awkward time in the preliminary hearing, it’s time to go to trial. Trouble is, when the accused refuses to deny he did it, things can go haywire quite quickly. Still, the defence mounts a case based on poking holes into the prosecution’s case, offering up some alternatives of their own. Character witnesses turn into possible alternative suspects, keeping the jury confused, but will it work?
