I’m halfway through and honestly I can’t wait for it to end.
To be fair, it’s not a bad book per se; the premise is intriguing enough, but my god is it full of cliches!
The main character is a blend of privileged Egyptian cliches, so much so that there’s nothing remotely interesting about him. I don’t even want to read from his perspective.
I hope the ending is a little bit redeeming.
