So, is an Alethkar horse actually the same as an Earth horse? How come horses and humans are the only mammals in the world?

I do like this book, but the main characters' plot armour is getting a bit annoying...

Really like it so far, although the book is so big and heavy that it's hard to find a comfy position with it ;)

Progress! BTW, has the left-hand thing ever been explained so far?

At this rate, this is going to take me a year :(. Need more time to read!
