Harry Day’s Reviews > Wuthering Heights > Status Update

Quite a slow read. Everything is so well articulated and well written, however the language is complex and not something I’m used to working with. That said, the story is spectacular and sinister. Enjoying it!

I naively picked up this book expecting a love story. 4 chapters in and it’s darker and more claustrophobic than I could have possibly imagined. The writing so far is fantastic and hard to put down. Brontë is definitely in her element as a writer here.
