So far, so good... But Kayla is still really unclear for me- all I get to know about her is that she is cute, not smart enough to check the weather report before going hiking and that she's been hurt by a man in the past. I hope brockmann expands more upon her character later in the book. I'm sorta sick of books where the heroine's only role in the story is to be cute (and small!?!).
