First story was "The Monkey's Paw" by W.W. Jacobs which I'm actually not sure I've read before although I'm certainly familiar with the concept. Pretty good, a nice start to the book.

The last story is "The Ghost Ship" by Richard Middleton. It is decidedly sillier than the others, which will be a turn-off for some, but I like it.

Story #3 was "The Dream Woman" by Wilkie Collins. Not as creepy as the previous stories but definitely interesting.

Story 2: "The Upper Berth" by F Marion Crawford, originally published 1886. A bit long, but incredibly creepy and takes place on an ocean liner. A character also uses the word "fuggly" which I wasn't expecting and cracked me up.
