Chapter 13:
So apparently, Omen has suspected that Sorsha has fire abilities this whole time and That's why he's been testing her. It definitely gives a new perspective for why he's been treating her the way he has. It'll be interesting to see how he tries to draw out her powers from now on.

Chapter 20:
So, I didn't really like the sex scene much. But, it was mostly because I couldn't stop wondering what Ruse was thinking. He's been avoiding intimacy with Sorsha, but the second she offers it he accepts. It makes me wonder if the moments of jealousy he's had spurred him to actually do what he wanted to do rather than hold back. I really wish I could have seen this scene from his perspective.

Well fuck me, it was another of Omen's tests and he finally was able to figure it out - she's a hybrid I'm guessing. I was expecting a different creature altogether. I guess the blip about humans not being able to make with the Shadowkind was a red herring. Now, I'm wondering if Luna was her actual mother or perhaps an Aunt or Grandmother. It would explain why she was so protective of Sorsha.

Well fuck me, it was another of Omen's tests and he finally was able to figure it out - she's a hybrid I'm guessing. I was expecting a different creature altogether. So, Omen has already figured out that Sorsha has some sort of fire abilities. Sorsha denies it, but seems to not only know that she does, but is afraid of what it means. I'm thinking then that she actually knows what she is and that scares her for some reason. So, I wonder what it is and why it would scare her so badly.

So, my initial thoughts about the Fund were right. Most of the people are just there to feel self righteous, not because they genuinely care about the Shadowkind. They just want to feel like the good guys. No wonder many of the Shadowkind hate their group.

So, he made a comment about her having an affinity for fire. And now, he cuts her and she wonders if he's testing her. So now I'm wondering if he thinks she's some sort of supernatural and he was trying to see if she'd unleash her abilities or something. It also seemed like he used his abilities when cutting her, but I'm not sure what to make of that.
