Jes Drew > Status Update

One of my favorite scenes from the Dystopian Takeover Trilogy:

Mickey chews her lip nervously. “Besides, two-thirds of the global population have already been vaccinated.”
“Two-thirds?” I squeak. “What good will taking out this factory do, then?”
Violet glances around the table, looking everyone but Alex in the eyes. When her ice-cold blue eyes lock on mine, she says, “We can still save the other third.”
