It is very rare that I abandon a book. But I simply could not carry on with this one. I read to 51% and it still dragged on so predictably. I realized I was forcing myself to read it. I know I am deep in the minority given all the excellent reviews. Possibly, had I been able to stick it out a bit longer, I would have seen the greatness. However, even with the great title and cover art, I just could not.
