Okay, so my predictions right now, knowing nothing about this book: Flora doesn't actually want to marry Ralph but is being pushed to do so by her mother, who just wants those dolla dolla bills (pounds I guess). Ralph didn't murder his stepfather but I have no idea who the murderer is yet; Ralph is being framed for some reason. Maybe the big game hunter friend guy? He seems to be into Flora.
