This book had some pretty horrible reviews. I was expecting to find the book dreadful. It was a little slow at times and was a sappy love story at the end.Yes Jemima did lose weight and then her longtime love interest showed an interest in her but you could tell that he had feelings for her before he knew she lost weight. All in all I'd say it's a cute book. I'm certainly not suffering from buyer's remorse.

Even with this book having many negative reviews,I decided to give it a go anyway. I can't really tell which way I'm leaning as I've only just started to read it. I'll update when I've finished.
