The ways were fucking weird but atmospheric but most importantly THE GANG IS BACK TOGETHER.
Mat is okay and not a dick anymore and I just love it

Half the gang is back together and I almost cheered. Lan is so cool. Rand and Mats tumultuous ness is interesting as is Mats growing paranoia and almost ptsd from everything that has happened. I rate it. I love this book

Fuck the children of the light or whatever.
But Rand my baby boy he definitely used the magic and had the sickness thing. Here for it 100%. Honestly the action picked up and I’m so invested. It hit an odd bit in the middle but right now it’s flying 👌👏

The wolf stuff is interesting a different kind of magic vibe. It’s fun.
Mat and Rand need to get back with the team but poor Thom. Moiraine and co were lacking this time and I miss them. It’s a curious side quest section I must say but subtly sets up the sequel

THE DAGGER FROM THE TRAILER ALL MAKES SENSE. Perrin and Egwene and the wolfs is interesting here for it

Oooo I hit a bit number tonight but I did also read for 90 minutes. Also Mat makes me want to punch him in the pace. The splitting of the party makes me sad, I hope it’s temporary. But The whole sequence in Shayol Ghul was creepy, Trollocs and fades and just so many nasties. Baerlon was an adventure and I love Moiraine using magic it’s so cool. I’m just waiting for Rand to have a moment of power’

The reluctant hero party is amusing and definitely lends itself to an interesting relationship between Lan and the Country boys. Rand’s reticence is fascinating especially as he seems to be moving to acceptance while Mat and Perran are just trying their best. Moiraine is awesome and I love her and Egwene and Rands argument was just brilliant 😂

Not much read tonight but who cares it’s fucking great
