God must have a Machiavellian turn of mind 2 devise the cruelties inheret with growing old. @ the very least the elderly ought to b allowed an accurate perception of time..2 c the yrs as the stretch they really were, not 2 b made 2 feel they had all gone by n a flash & the beginning was no more than a short distance back. @ the end, the old and dying ought to b spared the feeling that life had just begun.
