I finished! This is a basic account of the end:
One week earlier, his house in the East Elmhurst section of Queens had been firebombed in the middle of the night. Malcolm X exhorted them to "be cool" as his bodyguards focused on the scuffle, clearing the path for a man to pull out a shotgun and blast the unprotected speaker in the chest, knocking him backward.

This is a little summary I wrote about what I have learned so far:
Malcolm X was born Malcolm Little; May 19, 1925 and was an African American Muslim minister and human rights activist who was a popular figure during the civil rights movement. A spokesman for the Nation of Islam until 1964, he was a vocal advocate for Black empowerment. Leading to his belief that blacks should have an isolated part of the us.

His spilt from Mr. Elijah Mohamed and his outrage for the Muslim nation would lead to conflict between someone he had admired, respected and followed throughout his rehabilitation. He would still stick by his Muslim teachings till his death.

In jail this when Malcolm discovered the dimension of books. He is lost reading for hours at night in 58-minute intervals. Using the light in hallway to read and hoping into bed when the guard coming close. This habit would land him in glasses. Which became something that he would carry his whole life.

Malcolm is in a bad position, jailed, freed and then expelled from for the Muslim nation like his brother, by Mr. Elijah Mohamed himself. They traded letter for weeks. And seeing the gradual growth of Malcom’s vocabulary through copying the dictionary and word for word, a page every day, sometimes two whole pages.

I am currently reading the part when one of his friends talks about talks about his first meeting with Malcolm X. It took place in March 1963 in the Muslim restaurant of Temple Number Seven on Lenox Avenue. He had been assigned by The New York Times to investigate the growing pressures within the Black community.
