I've been wanting to read something by Giono for quite a while. I have three of his books: The Man Who Planted Trees, The Malediction, and the very well-known The Song of the World. I've been trying to make my mind up as to which one I should try. The Open Road actually sounds more interesting than any of the ones I have! At this stage I think I'll go for The Song of the World.
