2017 review: I read this with my 9yo, who determined it too creepy but also a really good page-turner. The history and science elements were pleasing to me as an adult reader.

Note: This is the second book in a series, but it stands alone just fine.

A reread for me, a first read for my 9yo, and a good choice for spoopy season. (I got chills twice in the first dozen pages.)
