I could sense that this book is going to leave me heartbroken. It's definitely going to be SAD!!
omg, I think I am not ready for this.
Anyway, here are some of my fav parts:
"What was love when put up against the war?"
- This sentence put a wonder about the future that lays for Vianne and Antoinne's relationship as Antoinne was called to fight in the war. With an unwilling and heavy heart, Vianne has to let him go.

I'm in love with this book, or to be more specific I'm in love with Isabelle. She's different. Strong and determined. Even the way she thinks is different.
I am enchanted by the writing style of Kristin. She wove every word into a beautifully constructed sentence. Even a short sentence had a deeper meaning and hit straight to my heart.
