This is the reason I didn't give the book five stars. It is otherwise very good, but that fatphobia is blatant and uncomfortable.

Yep. That was why I only gave it I think 4 stars (3.5??)? The fatphobia was just super gross and unnecessary in a book that was otherwise really good
